What is canadian law ? is it like a mutt ! mixed with U.S.A policy!?

is it so mixed and matched with American policy that it cant even identify its self..is it like sour grapes put through a wine crusher to produce a intoxicating slurry of unidentifiable laws, for back yard barbecues and white picket fences..?? im only asking because its not Canadian anymore! its like wall streets fancy name for junk home loans..!
