He's in his difficult time. If you know him so well, show him and let him know that you are there to support him. Find a perfect time when his mood is good, talk and ask him about his plan (not telling him, remember man hates to be told). Hear his idea sendiri plan to your both current situation. But u need to set target for him too, if he still continue doing so, u need reconsider ur relationship. I wish u both the best :-)
